The face Mr. Sheridan is making in this photograph pretty much sums up how I feel when I'm watching the New York Giants on defense.
I'm not taking anything away from how they played this week against San Diego, I really feel like they did everything they could to win the game; however, they let Philip Rivers march 80 yards in 105 seconds to cap off a one-point win.
Bill Sheridan needs to take a lesson in being a creative defensive coordinator. I only just now realized how much he blitzed on third down and I cannot figure out why anyone would do that with the defensive line that they have.
I don't mean to talk bad about my team, but the Giants' secondary is just not very good. They can ill-afford to be called upon to play man-to-man coverage in every third down situation.
Now I may be exaggerating, but I felt like the Giants blitzed in every single passing situation. WHY?
