SMU recorded its first 20-win season and first postseason bid since 1999-2000; finishing 20-15 and advancing to the CollegeInsider.com Tournament (CIT) semifinal. SMU also had its most wins in Conference USA (8) while leading the league in field goal percentage (.482, 7th NCAA), 3-point percentage (.394, 13th NCAA) and free throw percentage (.742, 38th NCAA). The Mustangs tied the SMU record with 15 home wins at Moody Coliseum (15-1 in 1984-85). SMU also made a team-record 277 3-pointers last year.
