Eagles quarterback Michael Vick called into TMZ Live and made it clear that he’s not trying to help incarcerated children in an attempt to help his image.  He stressed that his two-year prison term helped him become a better person. “Sometimes it takes this … for a person to go through certain hardships … to realize what their purpose really is,” Vick said. “I think God placed it on my heart when I was incarcerated to come out and be the best person I can be and to help as many people as I can help.” I like Vick  a lot and it’s great to see how he resurrected his career on and off the field.  Hopefully he’ll have a bounce back year for the Eagles in 2013.
