FootBasket:
Mike Brown was fired as the head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers Friday morning after a rough start to the season at 1-4. It was the first time in his career being fired since by the Cleveland Cavaliers a few years back in the last season of LeBron James with the franchise.
It looks like Brown tried easing up the pain that morning as he hit up Chik-fil-A. According to TMZ, Brown was seen being very nice to the fans and taking pictures with them. They never spoke of the firing. The photo was taken at 11:30 AM in Costa Mesa, CA, just a few hours after he was laid off his job.
The above photo is Brown with Los Angeles sports reporter Jim Hill.
“I have great respect for the Buss family and the Lakers’ storied tradition and I thank them for the opportunity they afforded me,” Brown said in a statement about the firing later in the day.
