Former MLB pitcher and current MLB Network analyst Mitch Williams was reportedly ejected from a youth baseball tournament game this weekend after cussing out an umpire. Williams was also banned from the event, held by Ripken Baseball in Aberdeen, Maryland, and the details of the incident provided by Deadspin are very cringe-worthy.MLB Network analyst Mitch Williams was ejected Saturday from a baseball game for 10-year-olds after a profanity-laced tirade in which he called an umpire a “motherf****r” in front of the children, observers tell us.Williams reportedly complained about numerous calls throughout the game, ranging from balls and strikes to a close play at the plate, which led to "repeated arguments" with umpires on the field of play. The full report from Deadspin includes multiple photos and chronicles Williams defending his actions on Twitter. While Williams claims the umpire was the one who got out of control, eye witnesses say that only occurred after Williams provoked him with bad behavior of his own. Ripken Baseball has stated that the umpire acted in an unprofessional manner. However, it's unclear whether Williams or the umpire is most at fault for causing such an obscene spectacle at a child's baseball game. Honestly, it doesn't matter. There's no place in youth sports for moments like this.Via Hardball Talk
