MLK - Stabbed in Harlem

Martin Luther King Jr. was stabbed in the chest in Harlem? By a crazed black woman? I did not know that. Why is it that this little episode of his history is never discussed? He almost died. The day was September 20, 1958. I'm fascinated by history like this.The story is worth reading even if just for some awesome MLK quotes:Hatred paralyzes life, love releases it...In the end we will remember not the words of our enemies but the silence of our friends.Powerful stuff.
