"Monty" of Sporting News Radio stirs it up with McNabb vs. Vick....

Man, I've got to tell you, I am sick of national media folk stirring it up on the Eagles, implying that Donovan McNabb is not down with the signing of Mike Vick as a backup QB....or whatever role Vick is expected to play once Roger Goodell gives him the clearance to assume a spot on an NFL roster. The latest culprit is "Monty" of Sporting News Radio, aka Tim Montemayor, the 36-year-old, 6-4. 335-lb. broadcaster from Chicago, whom I must admit I thoroughly enjoy on most nights in the Philadelphia-Baltimore market on my evening drive-time AM radio....or at least when he's not banging on the Eagles. Here's the deal: "Monty" thinks all the hype about the Eagles' signing of Vick and McNabb's purported lobbying of coach Andy Reid and owner Jeff Lurie to get Vick on the team is a hoax.
