Charlotte Observer:
(By David Scott, dscott@charlotteobserver.com) Here are storylines that will likely accompany the 2012 NBA draft: It should be better and deeper than this year's and potentially include a distinct ACC flavor. "There will be more star power, more talent at the top, with the spotlight on American college kids," said ESPN basketball analyst Jay Bilas, a Charlotte resident and former Duke player. "Especially with the incoming freshman class. But there are also several high-level players who decided to stay in school, like (North Carolina's) Harrison Barnes."The 2012 draft could resemble 2005, which featured ACC players at the top (North Carolina's Marvin Williams, Sean May, Raymond Felton and Rashad McCants; Wake Forest's Chris Paul and N.C. State's Julius Hodge all went in the first round).
