Mountain West Unveils New Brand Identity, Logo and Initiatives

The Mountain West Conference Board of Directors (BOD) and Commissioner Craig Thompson today unveiled the league's lt;br />new brand direction and conference identity at The Lodge at Torrey Pines, site of the annual BOD spring meeting. lt;br /> lt;br />Thompson, joined by Lt. Gen. Michael Gould, BOD chair and superintendent of the United States Air Force Academy; Dr. lt;br />Stephen Weber, president at San Diego State University; and Dr. Neal Smatresk, incoming BOD chair and president at lt;br />UNLV, ushered in a new era in the 13-year history of the Mountain West with a new logo nicknamed "The Rock" and the lt;br />tagline "This is our time."
