49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick told ESPN that he owns about 350 pairs of shoes.  He’s also spent around a total of $18,000 during a single visit to the shoe store.

I really hope Kaepernick has a good financial adviser.

10 Comments:
  • How many mirrors does Colin own?
  • Honestly apart of me is jealous, I work 40 plus hours a week, have raised two boys, and am now attempting college to try and better my circumstances. I am lucky to buy a new pair of sneakers once every three years that haven't come from the goodwill. The truth is everyone has a something they like and at least his is not harmful to himself or others. He seems to be cool and pretty level-headed. Actually thinking about it Way to Go !!
  • This is not the kind of publicity he should want. In a time when so many people are hurting and either not employed or under employed, bragging about having more shoes then you csn possibly wear seems excessive.
  • Why?
  • Because thats what rich hip hop stars do and he wants to emulate that. Ignorant.
  • I feel he is a clown in an egomaniacs clothing. From what I have seen on television, his interviews and the way he is conducting himself this off-season, he is not impressing me in the least. I dont think there is a humble bone in this kids body. He reminds me a bit of Michael Vick. perhaps not an animal abuser, but in his attitude. I think his success has come too soon for his immature mind to absorb and appreciate.
    I hope I am wrong.
  • Colin signed a 4-year $5.12MM contract and is destined to sign a multimillion extension in the very near future. What he spends on shoes is not excessive based on his financial resources. In other words, he rich!! Let the man live!!
  • Its his money let him spend it how he wants. I am sure people not in his income level spend money on things that others think is not necessary, when you pay his bills then you can comment on what he should and shouldn't be spending money on until then shut the **** up.
  • All you whiners and losers on here shut up,he worked for it. Go cry to those dead beat Hollywood trash who spend thousands of dollars on one pair of shoes and freaking handbags.
