Via Larry Brown Sports:
It could be another long offseason for New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick when it comes to keeping tabs on Rob Gronkowski. The start of the 2013 NFL season may be a full seven months away, but it’s no secret that the Patriots like their players to keep a low profile regardless of what time of the year it is. As we learned last offseason, Gronk has very little interest in doing that.
New England’s season ended just two weeks ago. Gronk currently has a cast on his forearm after he broke it again in the AFC Championship Game and needed a second surgery. If you aren’t familiar with the Patriots tight end, you might think something like that would stop him from dancing on stage at a club in Las Vegas and giving someone a Stone Cold stunner. As TMZ pointed out, it did not.
But that didn’t stop him from executing a Stone Cold Stunner-esque move on a friend during a playful dance battle at XS nightclub last night.
As Gronkowski was throwing his friend to the ground, the tight end — who was wearing a protective sleeve on his busted wing — also crashed to the ground and smacked his damaged arm on the stage in the process.
This is already the second time Gronk has been spotted partying with his shirt off since the season ended, which on the surface is no big deal. However, I highly doubt Belichick and the Patriots want to see him wrestling while his forearm that may not have healed properly the first time around heals again. My guess is he’ll be hearing from someone within the organization if he didn’t already.
