It could be another long offseason for New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick when it comes to keeping tabs on Rob Gronkowski. The start of the 2013 NFL season may be a full seven months away, but it’s no secret that the Patriots like their players to keep a low profile regardless of what time of the year it is. As we learned last offseason, Gronk has very little interest in doing that.

New England’s season ended just two weeks ago. Gronk currently has a cast on his forearm after he broke it again in the AFC Championship Game and needed a second surgery. If you aren’t familiar with the Patriots tight end, you might think something like that would stop him from dancing on stage at a club in Las Vegas and giving someone a Stone Cold stunner. As TMZ pointed out, it did not.

But that didn’t stop him from executing a Stone Cold Stunner-esque move on a friend during a playful dance battle at XS nightclub last night.

As Gronkowski was throwing his friend to the ground, the tight end — who was wearing a protective sleeve on his busted wing — also crashed to the ground and smacked his damaged arm on the stage in the process.

This is already the second time Gronk has been spotted partying with his shirt off since the season ended, which on the surface is no big deal. However, I highly doubt Belichick and the Patriots want to see him wrestling while his forearm that may not have healed properly the first time around heals again. My guess is he’ll be hearing from someone within the organization if he didn’t already.

  • Hes One Tuff Polak!
  • yea, there's nothing at all wrong with it ... unless he hurts his arm again, then I don't think Belicheck or the patriots organization would like that very much ... oh yea, there's that thing about Gronk's actions reflecting on the Patriots organization, I don't think they appreciate that either ... just saying ...
  • Too bad Drunkowski did't break his neck! What a douchebag!
  • Let me guess, your a New York fan.
  • Are you in Denial???? Get your head out of the cover!!!
The patriot superbowl where he claim he was not himself and cant contribute to the team and missed the winning catch because he hurt his knee and ankle, That same night he was dancing on it!!! Strike 1
New England put Sir Punk-grown-kowski in IR list before playoff cause he hurt his arm and possible surgery. Strike 2
Get picture taken both incident faking an injury. Strike 3
He is a overpaid crybaby and like all the other prima dona's they will crash!
  • I didn't realize he broke his forearm 3 times, since evidently he broke it again in a game he didn't even play in. What play in the AFC Championship did he get hurt on?
  • Gronk, tone it down when your in public.. Play the game off the field. Your team needs a healthy Gronk next year..
  • Since this imbecible has been useless and unavailable when needed in the Superbowl and AFC championship the past two years, you would think he would give a damn about disappointing the fans and his employer and maybe get under control, but no, he's "just a big fun-loving kid".

Hey Opie - the NFL is a year round job.

To me, his new name should be "trade-bait".
  • He can have his fun......that's all cool......but I didn't know you could just take your shirt off in bars and nightclubs?? I understand he has the physique to show off, but of you allow hiom to do it, can't an overweight guy do it too?? How about the girls?? If he can, why not them?? There has to be some sanitary issues regarding having a guy with his shirt off gyrating around and spraying his sweat onto other people and possibly into their drinks!! YUCK!!
  • Hey making a big deal out of this is insane. Reporters or what ever they call themselves should look for a real story, leave the guy alone. I will add if he was pulling an OJ job in Vegas that would be a story but if OJ was dancing with his shirt off mmmm sorry maybe that would be a story
  • Why is he always seen dancing with guys?
  • oh well, some day he will grow up........and take dance lessons
  • I almost didn't know if he was dancing or having a reaction to medication. He's just a big young pup with money having fun. I saw an espn special on him and his brothers and this is the way he's always been.
  • First the shirt comes off... then the whores move in...then the impregnation begins. Believe me I know !
Gronk you're a young man, dont do it, dont throw your life away !
  • Above comment courtesy of Ray Lewis.
  • No one will care if he produces in season. He needs to balance his night club and end zone dancing. Babe Ruth should become his role model

Watch: Rob Gronkowski pulls a Body Slam at Vegas Nightclub

Well, this is becoming quite the image for Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski – so let’s just paint the normal picture. Gronk was at a Vegas nightclub Sunday night – Shirtless, drunk, and dancing, of course – when he converted the dance off to a mock wrestling routine and took his stage-buddy to the ground via body slam, landing right on his twice-broken arm. He got up fine, and...

Vote: Should Patriots Be Concerned About Rob Gronkowski’s Off-Field Behavior?

Part of Rob Gronkowski‘s appeal is that he appears to be a kid who generally enjoys life without breaking any laws or putting anyone at risk. But with the latest video of Gronk body-slamming a friend while dancing shirtless at a club in Las Vegas, it begs the question of whether the Pro Bowl tight end is having too much fun for his own good. As most Patriots fans know, Gronkowski...

Patriots Rob Gronkowski is catching heat from local media

The events surrounding the Super Bowl may be the worst thing for New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski. For each of the past two years he has been injured in or around the big game. And for each of the past two years he has risked further injury by partying a bit to hard during post-game festivities. The Patriots could not have been delighted to catch a screening of the TMZ...

So, Rob Gronkowski parties... Who gives a damn?

Last year, we had the Summer of Gronk. And it looks like the New England Patriots Tight End is at it again in 2013, broken arm or not. Cheers to Deadspin for the picture It's a familiar image: Rob Gronkowski surrounded by girls, topless and drinking. And many Patriots fans aren't pleased about it.I, however, couldn't give a damn how Gronk spends his offseason....

Johnny Football's Super Bowl party was better than yours

Johnny Manziel is on what seems like an unsustainable pace this offseason, but that's what we all thought during the season too. We all watched him put up 557 yards against Arkansas, and that was going to be it. Then he went for 576 against Louisiana Tech, then won at Alabama, then passed Tim Tebow and Cam Newton and won the Heisman Trophy. It just never slowed down, and neither...

Mixed Bag Of Sports As February Gets Underway

February has always been a transitional month in sports. Once the Super Bowl is over, focus shifts to the NBA and NHL, and eventually to Spring Training, as the Red Sox equipment truck leaves today, and workouts start up officially next week. There will still be football talk…the combine, draft prep, and of course the endless Rob Gronkowski offseason adventures, which will no doubt...

Reggie Bush: I will 'harshly discipline' my daughter

Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush made the media rounds on Tuesday. In hindsight, that may have been a bad idea. The former USC star did a handful of interviews as part of a sponsor campaign with Taco Bell. However, it was one interview with WFAN that will have sports fans and media talking about anything but the Taco Bell program. Bush appeared on WFAN’s “Boomer and Carton”...

Yankees bench Derek Jeter

Things have hit rock bottom in the Bronx.  In what should be a celebratory month of Derek Jeter‘s career (and potential final postseason appearance), the New York Yankees are just about out of options to make the playoffs.  One last option was exercised today.  Bench Derek Jeter.  Not demote him out of the number two spot.  Not give him a day of rest.  Benched.  The American...

Terrible […]

Colin Kaepernick became the first player in NFL history to be flagged for using “inappropriate language” on Sunday night.
