Unfortunately your browser does not support IFrames. It could be another long offseason for New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick when it comes to keeping tabs on Rob Gronkowski. The start of the 2013 NFL season may be a full seven months away, but it’s no secret that the Patriots like their players to keep a low profile regardless of what time of the year it is. As we learned last offseason, Gronk has very little interest in doing that. New England’s season ended just two weeks ago. Gronk currently has a cast on his forearm after he broke it again in the AFC Championship Game and needed a second surgery. If you aren’t familiar with the Patriots tight end, you might think something like that would stop him from dancing on stage at a club in Las Vegas and giving someone a Stone Cold stunner. As TMZ pointed out, it did not. But that didn’t stop him from executing a Stone Cold Stunner-esque move on a friend during a playful dance battle at XS nightclub last night. As Gronkowski was throwing his friend to the ground, the tight end — who was wearing a protective sleeve on his busted wing — also crashed to the ground and smacked his damaged arm on the stage in the process. This is already the second time Gronk has been spotted partying with his shirt off since the season ended, which on the surface is no big deal. However, I highly doubt Belichick and the Patriots want to see him wrestling while his forearm that may not have healed properly the first time around heals again. My guess is he’ll be hearing from someone within the organization if he didn’t already. • Hes One Tuff Polak!
  • yea, there's nothing at all wrong with it ... unless he hurts his arm again, then I don't think Belicheck or the patriots organization would like that very much ... oh yea, there's that thing about Gronk's actions reflecting on the Patriots organization, I don't think they appreciate that either ... just saying ...
  • Too bad Drunkowski did't break his neck! What a douchebag!
  • Let me guess, your a New York fan.
  • Are you in Denial???? Get your head out of the cover!!!
The patriot superbowl where he claim he was not himself and cant contribute to the team and missed the winning catch because he hurt his knee and ankle, That same night he was dancing on it!!! Strike 1
New England put Sir Punk-grown-kowski in IR list before playoff cause he hurt his arm and possible surgery. Strike 2
Get picture taken both incident faking an injury. Strike 3
He is a overpaid crybaby and like all the other prima dona's they will crash!
  • I didn't realize he broke his forearm 3 times, since evidently he broke it again in a game he didn't even play in. What play in the AFC Championship did he get hurt on?
  • Gronk, tone it down when your in public.. Play the game off the field. Your team needs a healthy Gronk next year..
  • Since this imbecible has been useless and unavailable when needed in the Superbowl and AFC championship the past two years, you would think he would give a damn about disappointing the fans and his employer and maybe get under control, but no, he's "just a big fun-loving kid".

Hey Opie - the NFL is a year round job.

To me, his new name should be "trade-bait".
  • He can have his fun......that's all cool......but I didn't know you could just take your shirt off in bars and nightclubs?? I understand he has the physique to show off, but of you allow hiom to do it, can't an overweight guy do it too?? How about the girls?? If he can, why not them?? There has to be some sanitary issues regarding having a guy with his shirt off gyrating around and spraying his sweat onto other people and possibly into their drinks!! YUCK!!
  • Hey making a big deal out of this is insane. Reporters or what ever they call themselves should look for a real story, leave the guy alone. I will add if he was pulling an OJ job in Vegas that would be a story but if OJ was dancing with his shirt off mmmm sorry maybe that would be a story
  • Why is he always seen dancing with guys?
  • oh well, some day he will grow up........and take dance lessons
  • I almost didn't know if he was dancing or having a reaction to medication. He's just a big young pup with money having fun. I saw an espn special on him and his brothers and this is the way he's always been.
  • First the shirt comes off... then the whores move in...then the impregnation begins. Believe me I know !
Gronk you're a young man, dont do it, dont throw your life away !
  • Above comment courtesy of Ray Lewis.
  • No one will care if he produces in season. He needs to balance his night club and end zone dancing. Babe Ruth should become his role model

Wilbon angry at DC for not supporting Wizards

The Washington Wizards are out to a fast start with an 18-6 record and 13-2 at home. With this record, you’d fans would be flocking to the Verizon Center to support their team. However, on Friday against the Los Angeles Clippers, the attendance was well short of a sellout and that has ESPN’s Michael Wilbon seeing red. Wilbon called out DC fans during an appearance on Tony Kornheiser’s...

Urban Meyer on Tim Tebow: 'He wants another shot at playing'

Tim Tebow hasn’t played professional football in nearly two years, but the former Florida quarterback, unsurprisingly, wants another shot.  The current ESPN college football analyst was in Columbus on Wednesday, speaking to his former coach’s College Football Playoff-bound team. During his visit with No. 4 Ohio State, Tebow spent some time with Urban Meyer. The 50-year-old...

Keenan Lewis: Saints preparing 'funeral' for Falcons

This Sunday, NFC South rivals New Orleans Saints (6-8) and Atlanta Falcons (5-9) will battle for a potential division title. A game that could eliminate Atlanta from playoff contention with a loss. Saints’ cornerback Keenan Lewis had a rather morbid and blunt take on the upcoming game (via NFL.com). We’re definitely gonna give them their funeral. Even though Lewis seems...

Report: Lakers offered Nash, draft picks for Rondo

It reportedly will take a rather hefty offer to convince the Boston Celtics to part ways with Rajon Rondo. This one probably won’t get the job done. The Los Angeles Lakers have offered the Celtics a package of point guard Steve Nash and “multiple draft picks” in exchange for Rondo, sources told ESPN.com’s Ramona Shelburne on Thursday. Rondo obviously would help the flailing...

Chris Christie defends being a Cowboys fan

Governor Chris Christie was viciously savaged by his New Jersey constituents, among others, for having the audacity to watch the Dallas Cowboys-Philadelphia Eagles game on Sunday night with Jerry Jones. Christie was shown during NBC’s broadcast of “Sunday Night Football” fraternizing with Jones and watching the game from the Cowboys owner’s luxury box at Lincoln...Read More...

Celtics co-owner: 2024 Olympics would be 'boon for Beantown'

Bringing the 2024 Summer Olympics to Boston would be “transformative” and would “set the course for what we want our city and the commonwealth to look like for decades to come,” the co-chair of Boston’s 2024 finance committee writes.   Stephen Pagliuca, better known around Boston as co-owner and managing partner of the Celtics, wrote an article posted on BankerandTradesman...

Harbaugh turned down Michigan money in 2011

Whether Jim Harbaugh is actually interested in the Michigan job or not, it would simply be bad business for him to come out and say he will not be the next head coach of the Wolverines. If nothing else, Harbaugh can use Michigan’s desperation as leverage. There have already been reports that Harbaugh wants to...Read More

Why the Saints pose a legit threat to any playoff team

Does the NFC South deserve to have a team in the playoffs?  I may be in the minority (Brady Quinn agrees with me http://www.footballbyfootball.com/column/nfc-south-is-rising-no-playoff-change-needed), but I believe it does.  Every team sets goals during training camp and one of those goals is to win the division. Therefore, a division title has to mean something.  It means you’ve...

Matt Kemp reportedly has arthritis in both hips

So, that huge Matt Kemp trade between the Dodgers and Padres? Yeah…it might not happen. The typically symbolic physical may actually present a huge problem for the Padres, because it’s revealed that Kemp has arthritis in both of his hips. The holdup in Matt Kemp trade is because the physical revealed arthritis in both hips. The #Padres continue to consult medical experts...

Danny Ainge: Celtics 'having a lot of discussions' about trades

If you expected Danny Ainge to address the Rajon Rondo trade rumors directly in his Thursday radio appearance, well, you should have known better. The Boston Celtics president of basketball operations did not comment on recent reports that the Dallas Mavericks are making a hard push for his star point guard, but he did note that the Celtics — like most NBA teams around this...
