As many of you pointed out, Sanchez has a case of tendinitis in his knee but don’t go worrying yourselves into a fit because Ryan has already said that Chez will play this Sunday. Jets’ rookie quarterback Mark Sanchez was added to the injury report on Thursday with what coach Rex Ryan termed “tendinitis in his right knee.” Ryan insisted the move was just procedural and that Sanchez, who participated fully in practice on Thursday, is not in danger of missing Sunday’s game against Tennessee. Obviously after getting smacked with a nice little fine from Goodell after not listing Brett McQueen on the injury report last season, the Jets just want to be on the safe side and not repeat the same mistake twice. Sanchez has been doing fine so far and I can’t see this being a stumbling block for the rookie come Sunday.
