My Mock Draft

Posted March 31, 2010 on Eaglesfan54's Blog:

1.Rams- Sam Bradford QB- it may not be the smartest thing to do but Steve Spagnolo needs a anchor to keep his job in St. Louis.

2. Lions- Gerald McCoy DT- He’s too good to pass up on. Plus the Titans former Defensive coordinator needs someone to stuff the run and rush the passer.

3. Buccaneers- Ndamukong Suh DT- Tampa Bay Cover 2 aka Dungy’s former defense relies on the front four to stuff the run and rush the passer without blitzing.

4.Redskins- Russell Okung LT- a franchise QB is needed but what good is one without any protection. Plus the signing of Rex Grossman might be a sign that Campbell is staying in Washington, at least for now.

5. Chiefs- Trent Williams LT- They need to help Brandon Albert and kick him to the RT spot.

6. Seahawks- Bryan Bulaga LT- Whitehurst is now their answer to an aging QB so they need a young LT to help with their aging LT, Walter Jones.

7.Browns- Eric Berry S- they need help in their secondary and who else but the best Safety on the board

8. Oakland- Anthony Davis LT- Nobody can predict the Raiders pick because of Al Davis’s drafting style, but since they need help on the O-line to protect what seems to be a waste of great talent in JaMarcus Russell they will probably draft O-Linemen.

9.Buffalo- Dez Bryant WR- They need playmakers and since their number one need in a LT is no longer on the board they will take a play maker.

10. Jacksonville- Rolando McClain LB- I think they wise up after their busts at the DE position and draft a solid starter for their defense.

11.Denver- Demaryius Thomas WR- This maybe a reach for this guy but he is the best WR on the board and since it doesn’t seem as though Brandon Marshall is staying in Denver they need a WR that has the size and playmaking ability Marshall has especially for their QBs.

12. Miami- Brandon Graham OLB- they need a edge rusher that can pressure the QB and replace Joey Porter.

13. San Francisco- Mike Iupati G/T- They need another tackle to pair up with Joe Staley to protect Alex Smith.

14. Seattle- C.J Spiller RB- They need a running back simple and plain.

15. New York- Sean Witherspoon LB- They need to replace their aging line backing core and who better than a man probably the best motor at LB.

16. Tennessee- Jason Pierre-Paul DE- They need help on their defense especially at the DE spot.

17. San Francisco- Earl Thomas FS- He’s a ball hawk safety that will be a starter day one.

18. Pittsburgh- Kyle Wilson CB- They lost games down the stretch because of the poor play of the secondary they will draft a man in the secondary on draft day.

19. Atlanta- Derrick Morgan DE- With John Abraham aging and not producing as well as he used to its time to help the pass rush.

20. Houston- Ryan Mathews RB- They needs a running back who will pair up with Steve Slaton to give them a more balanced offense.

21. Cincinnati- Jermaine Gresham TE- With Carson Palmer actually finishing the year uninjured and the Bengals need another go to guy in the middle of the field since teams are now doubling 85 on third down.

22. New England- Daryl Washington OLB- They need a pass rusher on the edge to help that defense and this is the best hybrid rusher on the board.

23. Green Bay- Devin McCourty CB- Though a bit of a reach they need a corner and Bruce Campbell and Charles Brown have question marks about them to be picked this high. Though Charles Brown can be a possible pick here.

24. Philadelphia-Taylor Mays S- They missed the presence of Dawkins at Safety and it showed in the back to back Dallas games. A DE may also make sense here though it would be a big reach for the inconsistent Everson Griffen DE.

25. Baltimore- Dan Williams DT- they need a DE in their 3-4 system and Williams is versatile enough to play that and become the NT on pass rushing downs.

26. Arizona- Terrence Cody NT- He is a big reach if he is still not in shape but if he is in shape then, this is the biggest steal of the draft because a guy this dominant inside the 3-4 usually would go in the top 10. If he came in shape to the combine he would have been a top ten pick. Jared Odrick DE/DT is also an option here.

27. Dallas- Bruce Campbell OT- They have enough time to coach up Campbell to replace Flozell Adams at LT by next year if they start him at RT or inside. Charles Brown is strictly an OT so Jerry Jones may avoid him.

28. San Diego- Jahvid Best RB- In my eyes the best RB coming out there are some questions about durability.

29. New York- Arrelious Benn WR- they give Mark Sanchez another big target to throw to.

30. Indianapolis-Maurkice Pouncey C/G- they lost a linemen this free agency so they want to fill that hole with this guy who may be an eventual replacement for Saturday.

31. New Orleans-Everson Griffen DE- the champions upgrade their weakest point their D-line.
