Race Review Online:
It is rumored that someone won the race at Richmond at weekend, but that speculation aside, what the sporting world knows for certain is that Jeff Gordon nabbed the second wild card spot in the Chase over a dispirited Kyle Busch.
With his win-I-mean-second-place-finish, Gordon joined fellow Hendrick Motorsports teammate Kasey Kahne to ride shotgun in the Chase field. Kahne and Gordon are seeded 11th and 12th, respectively, in the two wild card slots. Unlike Chases of years past, the ever-increasing level of competition in NASCAR's top level has resulted in the most difficult-to-predict Chase field ever produced. With that said, what are the chances of our wild card wheelman, Gordon and Kahne, to win the cool trophy this year?
That’s the issue at stake in this episode of Bonus Points, a weekly feature in which Sports-at-Work writers Sam Salo and Luke Krmpotich debate a current issue in NASCAR, giving their takes on the way things ought to be. Sometimes, Sam and Luke will agr...

Richmond was one of the most drama-filled events of the 2012 season. And I'm not talking about the rain that threatened to postpone the event until Sunday (although that possibility was important to me personally, since I was covering the race but would've been forced to watch the race from home if it had been run on Sunday).
The story lines were intense as several drivers...
