Many people in the racing and commercial worlds have felt the wrath of Danica Patrick over the years. The disease of COPD is next in line to feel Patrick’s wrath. The NASCAR superstar and world’s third highest paid female athlete (according to Forbes) took to Capitol Hill to make the nation’s rain-makers aware of her cause.
COPD is chronic pulmonary disease and it involves a chronic cough, breathing difficulty and destruction of the lungs over time.

Patrick has a personal connection to the cause since her grandmother suffered from COPD.
