Now let’s take a moment to applaud a coach for leaving a school for another job the right. Former Utah State Gary Andersen was named the new head coach at Wisconsin today. And if you ask some Wisconsin fans, the hire was a home run. Andersen heads to Madison with an impressive resume at Utah State, but what he did after news broke that he would be the Badgers’s next head coach is even more impressive. According to Tom Mulhern of the Wisconsin State Journal, Andersen called each and every one of his Utah State players to personally inform them he was leaving. All 106 or so of them.
