This article is the work of guest blogger Felipe Diaz, a fine and enthusiastic young man from the great state of Wisconsin who is currently a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee studying Film Production and Marketing. On Sunday the New York based tabloid ran a cleverly titled article on Tiger Woods’ struggles with the old rulebook at the Masters this past weekend. In what can only be described as a freak occurrence, on Friday at the Augusta National Golf Club Tiger nearly eagled the par-4 15th when he hit a wedge onto the green in his  approach shot. Instead, the ball nailed the pin and bounced off the green into the nearby water. Woods didn’t think much of it as he reset his ball just a few feet away from where he took the previous swing. Problem is what Woods did was very, very wrong. Wrong enough that the Augusta National Committee could have had him disqualified. But instead of sitting their ratings machine, the Committee assessed Woods a 2-stroke penalty, bumping his score for the round from a 71 to a 73. Woods came into the round with the lead, but he couldn’t pull it together to recover from his rookie mistake as he went on to finish the tournament tied for fourth place. It could have been worse though…remember what happened the last time Tiger Woods put his balls in the wrong place? At least this time we get perhaps the best sports related cover page ever, and Woods made out okay too, taking home over $350,000 dollars for his fourth place finish, instead of signing away almost $750 million of his amassed fortune.
