Many baseball fans were left asking questions as to why the AL starting pitcher Justin Verlander struggled giving up 5 runs in his one inning of work en route to an 8-0 loss. The easy answer that most people are providing is going straight to the rumours of him recently going out with Kate Upton. If that is actually the case I can’t say that I blame him as it would be very easy to become distracted thinking about her instead of a useless pathetic meaningless all star game.
Local Fox Minnesota News Channel KMSP also happens to believe that is the case. During a news telecast over the weekend a very funny blooper occurred due to this. When speaking of Upton the video footage that came on the TV screen was the famous Kate Upton Cat Daddy Video. This left the news anchor lost for words, stumbling all over the place, check out the comedy:

Yup that’s what Kate Upton does to people when she appears on the screen. Everyone is in awe and are often left dumbfounded looking for words.
If the rumours are true about Verlander he is one lucky man. The Tigers on the other hand they may not be as this could be a problem in the final months of the seasons if he really does became distracted by her.

RHP Justin Verlander reverted to his pre-All-Star game form with eight shutout innings Sunday at Baltimore to win his 10th game of the season. Verlander opened the All-Star Game with a 97-mph fastball, topped out at 101 and ended up allowing five runs to the National League. "I just had to tell myself that's not the type of pitcher that I am," Verlander said. "...

The Detroit Tigers shut out the Baltimore Orioles toady and now found second place in the A.L. Central a half of a game ahead of the Indians. The Tigers got some fantastic pitching today from none other than Justin Verlander, the same guy who fell apart in the first inning of the All-Star game giving up five runs. Today we saw the Verlander we have all come to admire. Verlander pitched...

It is officially always sunny in Detroit…at least while Miss Kate Upton is gracing the area with her presence. I happened to bump into Miss Upton around town not more than an hour ago. And for those wondering what she’s like, she’s as friendly as she is popular. She didn’t have to give Tim Regular the time of day, but she did.
Whether she decides to sport the It’s...
Everyone done panicking over Justin Verlander yet?
Between his terrible performance in the All-Star Game and the rumors flying around about Kate Upton, last week was one of the first times that Tigers fans actually seemed worried about their ace. Where was his head? Was Upton going to be the next Yoko Ono? Had his All-Star performance uncovered some previously hidden flaw.
Kate Upton is usually seen in skimpy bikinis, but here is the busty starlet in a photo shoot with Eric Guillemain in the Sunday Times Magazine.
Is it any surprise that Kate Upton looks bad-a** in a leather jacket? I’m not saying that she’s about to hop on a motorcycle or anything irresponsible like that, but you can tell that she...

Detroit Tigers, 46-43, 3 1/2 games behind Chicago.
The Tigers try to continue their 2nd-half surge with a 4-game series against the redundantly named Los Angeles Angels. The series will feature neither Justin Verlander nor Jered Weaver, much less a rematch between the two, since they both pitched yesterday. Perhaps that will have to wait until the 1-game wild card playoff.
Topps Allen and Ginter Baseball cards were released this past week to huge sales for both new boxes and aftermarket sales on eBay — Both Erin and Kate’s bidding is heavy — Novelty baseball cards are always cool. Still to this day, Billy Ripken’s is the Greatest of All Time. -TO

This stuff falls on deaf ears with me man. I’m sick of hearing about it. Penn State is a mess. You would have never have guessed it but somehow Penn State has a very strong recruiting class this year…. not sure how they pulled that off.

The American League has better hitting and pitching. The National League sucks! How many times have baseball fans said this (Or at least the first half of that statement)? For a while now it has been widely assumed that the AL is the better league, even with the NL taking the last 2 world championships.
But that assumption is wrong, and there has to be something...
