When the Pac-12 season started, four unexpected teams turned heads -- then-undefeated Colorado; Washington, which was on a five-game win streak; emerging Washington State and Oregon State, which carried a 9-2 record. While WSU has suffered injuries that has caused the Cougs to tumble, two of those teams are still proving to be on a legit track to respectable seasons.

9-3) only have a couple of days to tangle with Oregon State (15-9, 5-7 Pac-12) Sunday as the back end of UW Oregon road swing. The game is set for a 2:30 p.m. start at Gill Coliseum and will be televised by ROOT Sports/FSN.

A six run second inning helped the No. 23 Georgia Tech softball team hold off Oregon State in its season opener, Friday. The Yellow Jackets improve to 1-0 on the year and hand Oregon State, who won its first two games by a combined 38-8 score, its first loss of the season (1-2).
