Those planning to set up an epic tailgating party outside of MetLife Stadium for next year's Super Bowl will run the risk of getting reprimanded. On Monday, the NFL announced a number of changes being made to football's biggest game of the year. The biggest change is the fact that fans will no longer be permitted to tailgate in the parking lot."You will be allowed to have food in your car and have drink in your car," an NFL spokesman said. "And provided you're in the boundaries of a single parking space, you'll be able to eat or drink right next to your car. However, you're not going to be able to take out a lounge chair, you're not going to be able to take out a grill, and you're not going to be able to take up more than one parking space. And it'll all be watched very carefully."The news is more ammo for the supporters who already label the NFL as the "No Fun League."However, the measure is being taken to alleviate traffic and safety concerns for the big event. Parking is already an issue around the stadium, so the intent of eliminating tailgating is designed to clear more necessary space.Among other notable changes, fans who had considered parking farther from the stadium and getting there on foot will not be allowed to enter. Instead, fans will either have to transport themselves to the game, ride public transit, or take a shuttle bus.Via ESPN
