The NFL has asked an arbitrator to dismiss the challenge by the Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys to salary cap reductions imposed by the league, according to a person with knowledge of the case. The leagues request asserts that because the NFL Players Association agreed to the salary cap cuts, the teams should not be able to contest them, according to the person, who provided the information on the condition of anonymity because the arbitration proceedings are confidential. Its not clear when the arbitrator, University of Pennsylvania law professor Stephen Burbank, will rule on the request. A hearing in the case is scheduled for May 10.

DeAngelo Hall flirts with Alex Morgan on Twitter, Morgan says she’ll attend Redskins game
Hopefully once word gets around that DeAngelo Hall and Alex Morgan were chatting back and forth on Twitter, everyone calls it flirting. That way we can see if Hall gets all worked up about it like Evan Longoria did that time when he and Morgan were chatting and everyone said he was trying to pick her up. 2012 NFL draft: Cowboys and Ronnell Lewis could be a perfect fit
The Dallas Cowboys aren’t unwilling to take a chance on greatness just because of some difficulties off the field. Great Moment in Dallas Cowboys History: Clinching the NFC East in 1973
The year 1973 was not a great one in Dallas Cowboys history, but it is notable for a few reasons.
It was the last time that the old guard from the late 1960s reached the playoffs. That team still featured the likes of Bob Lilly, Bob Hayes, Walt Garrison, Calvin Hill, and Cornell Green.
Some new blood had arrived at that point, most notably in the form of rookie wide receiver Drew...

Breaking Down The 2012 Dallas Cowboys Schedule
After a disappointing (to some) 8-8 campaign by the Dallas Cowboys in 2011, the pressure would seem to be building on those in charge of The Team That Used to be America's to return them to glory sometime soon.
The only problem with that is that they are faced with a schedule that will be sending then on the road for 6 of their first 9 games. That, among other things, highlights...
