Bills Insider:
In an unconventional move, the New England Patriots used Pro Bowl NT Vince Wilfork at defensive end Sunday. Coach Bill Belichick decided to tie up the Dolphins? best offensive lineman (LT Jake Long) with his team?s best defensive lineman (Wilfork).
Call it a stalemate, which means advantage to the defense. With Wilfork clogging the running lanes, the Patriots thrived. He made three tackles, helped keep the Wildcat offense in check and hold Miami to 133 yards rushing. The only big play was a 33-yard run by backup QB Pat White.
