Broncos linebacker Von Miller likely will be suspended six games instead of the original four for violating the league's substance policy, according to multiple reports.
The sides are negotiating the final number of games, and a deal is expected to be completed this week, according to the report.
Miller, who has been named to the Pro Bowl in each of his first two years in the league, was originally suspended in July.
Miller, who reportedly is not expected to appeal the decision, denied the allegations when the suspension was first reported.
''I know I did nothing wrong. I'm sure this'll be resolved fairly,'' Miller tweeted.
