The Denver Nuggets are determined to re-sign Timofey Mozgov, a restricted free agent. "We're progressing," Tim Connelly said. "We need Timofey. We want to see what he can do. It's time for him to get on the court more. He's excited. We're increasingly getting close."Mozgov averaged 2.6 points and 2.6 rebounds in 8.9 minutes for the Nuggets last season. Mozgov was acquired by the Nuggets in a package for Carmelo Anthony in 2011.

Nuggets Hire Arturas Karnisovas As Assistant GM

The Denver Nuggets have hired Arturas Karnisovas as assistant general manager. The Denver Nuggets are interested in signing Nate Robinson, according to sources close to the situation. Robinson, 29, averaged 13.1 points and 4.4 assists in 25.4 minutes last season, in 82 games for the Chicago Bulls. Robinson is unlikely to return to the Bulls, due to the reluctance of Tom Thibodeau.
