Se’Von Goodman, a 6-foot-5 245-pound defensive end was a redshirt freshman for the Ohio State Buckeyes in 2012, but has since been given a release from the school. According to the Columbus Dispatch, Goodman is considering transferring to Louisville if it can be worked out. The Canton, OH., native was a four star prospect coming out of high school in 2012. He redshirted during the 2012 season for the Buckeyes, but wasn’t able to participate in practice due to a knee injury. Goodman decided to leave the school following an undisclosed off the field issue and was released without issue. Goodman was initially committed to Penn State, but flipped to Ohio State once Urban Meyer was hired. Rivals.com ranked Goodman as one of the top 100 overall players in the 2012 class. He had scholarship offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Tennessee and West Virginia.
