(Via NHL.com). The Philadelphia Flyers have come to terms on a new contract for restricted free agent defenseman Oliver Lauridsen, the team announced. The deal is a two-year, two-way contract, but terms are currently unknown. He’ll likely receive a slight raise from last year’s salary of $650,000. Lauridsen was selected in the 7th round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft out of St. Cloud State, and joined the Flyers organization the following year. He has played with the Adirondack Phantoms for parts of three seasons after he left St. Cloud in 2010. As defensemen went down like bowling pins last year, Lauridsen was called up for the last 15 games of the season. Lauridsen had just four career goals in the AHL, but had two goals as well as an assist during his time in Philadelphia. The Flyers are now currently loaded with defensemen, especially after the team re-signed Eric Gustafsson on Tuesday.
