Completing an outstanding day for Ohio State athletics, the men's hockey team is going to the Joe. The Buckeyes downed Ferris State, 3-2, to win the deciding game of a three-game series to advance to Detroit's Joe Louis Arena for the CCHA semifinals. Anthony Greco scored the winning goal in the third for OSU.

The Ohio State basketball team hit rock bottom on Feb. 17 when it was blown out by Wisconsin 71-49 in Madison.
