Padilla says he's good to go Wednesday; Murphy to try first base

Manager Ron Washington reports that Vicente Padilla has told team brass that he will be ready to pitch Wednesday. The Rangers will likely push everyone back a day, so Tommy Hunter will pitch Thursday, Derek Holland on Friday, Scott Feldman on Saturday and Kevin Millwood on Sunday. That is subject to change. Washington also revealed that David Murphy could find his way into the picture at first base. Hank Blalock will get the lion's share of the work, with Andruw Jones getting a shot. Murphy will work at first base, a position he played in high school, before jumping into a game. -- Jeff Wilson
