Earlier today, for the first time since the middle of October, Patriots safety Jarrad Page returned to practice and took part in the workout. It was a solid sign for the former Kansas City Chiefs starter.
Afterward, the affable Page stopped and talked with reporters and explained what it was like dealing with an annoying calf injury he said “just popped.”
“It’s frustrating any time you get hurt, regardless of what the situation was,” Page said today. “But yeah, I was starting to settle in and everything, and then it happened. But, it’s just something I have to push through. I definitely didn’t lose anything on the mental side of it. I still have the defense, I’m still comfortable there. It’s just working myself back into a groove on the field. It’s good to be back out there. We’ll see what I can do from here.’‘
