With over 300,000 kids living with juvenile arthritis (JA) today, current NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Todd Peck is hoping to celebrate their continued successes in living with the disease. He will do so by wearing a race helmet in 2013 designed by child with juvenile arthritis. Peck himself lives with arthritis and was diagnosed as a juvenile.
Families of children with JA are encouraged to go to www.peckmotorsports.com to submit their design. Peck will pick a winner and wear that helmet in the races he competes in 2013. The winning helmet designer will also receive the helmet they designed at the conclusion of the race season. In addition, a duplicate helmet will be produced and used to raise funds for the Arthritis Foundation in 2013. The team works with the Foundation to bring additional awareness and funds.
