Down 19 points in the second half to Cincinnati, ranked 15th in the country, the Temple men’s basketball team looked very much like a squad which has yet to win in the new year or in its new league. But then Dalton Pepper caught fire, pouring in 27 second-half points on his way to a career-high 33 only to see a questionable foul with seven seconds remaining lead to another defeat.
