Sports Injury Alert:
Peyton Manning is going to practice tomorrow and play Sunday a source confirmed to profootballtalk.com. Manning was nursing a ankle injury he suffered in the Colts game when he returned to Indianapolis. He missed practice today which may have worried some Denver fans or fantasy owners that may have him on their team.
So far this year, Manning has guided the Broncos to a 6-1 record and are currently in 2nd place in the AFC West division. They trail only the Kansas City Chiefs who are a surprisingly 7-0 under new first year coach Andy Reid. They don’t play them until a little later in the season. The bottom line here though is that Peyton Manning is not badly banged up. He tweaked his ankle. The Broncos have a bye week after the game against the Redskins this week so that should give Manning time to rest the injury.
BEST OF MAXIM
Peyton Manning can do no wrong these days. He bought up 21 Papa John’s stores in the Denver area last year and they’ve all seen an increase in business. Thousands of dollars a day, in fact. This is great news for Eli. Maybe Peyton can get him a job at one of the stores after this season.

Joining Manning on the practice field was right tackle Orlando Franklin, who missed last week's game with a sprained left ankle.

If it's not a reunion game, it's a family feud or a clash of the titans or some other made-for-TV extravaganza. This week it's Mike Shanahan's return to Denver, which probably won't be...
I have zero inside information, but I am telling you it is his shoulder/arm, not his ankle, but they are just saying an ankle, so you don’t ask about his shoulder/arm. His throws did not look right after being hit by Robert Mathis on Sunday Night.
#Broncos in full gear for practice, but QB Peyton Manning had no shoulder or leg pads. Did not throw in warmups.
