The Majors Detroit:
Is soon-to-be free agent running back Reggie Bush a soon-to-be Lion?
It certainly sounds like it according to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com.
Florio reports that the Lions ‘look to be the likely winners’ for Bush’s services who played for the Miami Dolphins last season.
In addition Florio states that Bush would likely compete with Mikel Leshoure for the starting job further saying that he wouldn’t be surprised if Bush outworks and moves ahead of Leshoure on the depth chart.
Bush to Detroit isn’t a slam dunk though. The Arizona Cardinals seem to have a greater need for Bush Florio goes on to say after the release of Beanie Wells. This too despite the Lions likely moving on from Jahvid Best whose career is likely over due to multiple concussions.
NFL free agency begins today at 4PM ET.
