In his ongoing quest to spoil every part of his book, Phil Jackson revealed in an interview with Time that if he was starting an alltime team, he wouldn’t start with Jordan. “In my estimation, the guy that has to be there would be Bill Russell. He has won 11 championships as a player. That’s really the idea of what excellence is, when you win championships.” Russell, seen above fighting Muhammad Ali for the last piece of baby backs, said only in response: “And I would’ve won more too, if it wasn’t for those crazy kids!”
