DAYTONA BEACH — Danica Patrick, driver of the No.10 GoDaddy Chevrolet for Stewart Haas Racing will feature a patriotic paint scheme this weekend at Daytona International Speedway for the Coke Zero 400.
Patrick’s car will remain green, but feature a US flag that states “Start With .US” on both the hood and rear decklid of the car.
The country code domain for the United States of America is .US and, since 2001, Neustar has been providing domain name registry services, critical infrastructure services and policy expertise for .US on behalf of the United States Department of Commerce. GoDaddy has partnered with Neustar for several years on offering domain names that end in .US.
Patrick is racing her first full season in the Sprint Cup series this season. Patrick was the pole sitter for the season opening Daytona 500, becoming the first woman to sit on the pole for the start of the Great American Race. She had her best finish of her season thus far at the track — finishing 8th.
In her return to the track, she is seeking a better finish under the lights on Saturday.
“Goals for July are the same as they were in February when we went to Daytona,” Tony Gibson, Patrick’s crew chief said. “We want to go down there and we want to make a statement.”

NASCAR’s Danica Patrick is not going to settle for a top 10 finish if she has a shot a win tonight. She said she intends to be more aggressive if she is in line with a shot at winning the Coke Zero 400. Patrick didn’t show any signs of aggressiveness back in February when she just cruised across the finish line instead of making a move to try and win on the final lap. This kind...
If Danica Patrick wins the Coke Zero 400 this weekend at Daytona it would make for an amazing story. It would almost seem scripted. Danica Patrick’s participation in February’s Speedweek at Daytona International Speedway went pretty well.
She was the fastest during the first practice of the year Feb. 16, then backed that up by winning the pole for the Daytona 500 one day later...
“Today we celebrate our Independence Day!” exclaimed President Whitmore, played by Bill Pullman in the film…”Independence Day,” of course. Well, thanks Captain Obvious! Danica Patrick is celebrating Independence Day by remaking her Chevrolet Impala SS with a patriotic finish. Take a look at the pics.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- Danica Patrick made history in the season-opening Daytona 500, where she hit new milestones again and again and again.
She became the first woman to earn the top starting spot in a Sprint Cup event with her pole-winning run, then became the first woman to lead laps under green at NASCAR's top level on race day. Those five laps out front put her in...
Shots were fired last week and Danica Patrick was the target once again last week. Last Thursday Kyle Petty decided since his career was a total bust, he was going to lash out at Danica. Kyle Petty was on SPEED‘s “Race Hub” when he decided to run his mouth.
“That’s where I have a problem, where fans have bought into the hype of the marketing, to think she’s a race...
The taste of Miss Danica Patrick’s pole and 8th-place run in the Daytona 500 still lingers, which means that Saturday’s Daytona event gets her in the spotlight again.
On a side note, it is a nice thing indeed to be able to get so much mileage out of a top-10 in a motor sport, pun half-way intended.
The deal here is that there is legitimate reason to believe that this track will...

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. – Short of winning the 55th Daytona 500, Danica Patrick’s participation in February’s Speedweeks at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway was nearly flawless.
She was the fastest during the first practice of the year Feb. 16, then backed that up by winning the pole for the Daytona 500 one day later to become the first woman ever to claim the top spot for a...
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. Ask pundits around the garage at Daytona International Speedway who has an advantage for Saturday nights Coke Zero 400 and the answers will vary.
But perhaps the best analogy came from a crew chief who asked to remain anonymous, who said, If David Ragan can win at Talladega, then its anyones game.
On Thursday, Dale Earnhardt Jr., who has won both the February...

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers will be on edge this weekend as they will race the Coke Zero 400 at the Daytona International Speedway.
Restrictor plate racing has always been a big wildcard as really it’s more about luck and being at the right spot at the right time.
That’s good news for these five drivers as they’ve been given low odds. If there was a track to bet on...
