Today is March 1st, and I speak for college basketball fans across America when I say … let the madness of March begin!
Not that we needed the flip of a calendar page to usher in madness. This entire season has been madness, punctuated by this week’s losses of #1 Indiana and #3 Duke. Ho hum, just another week in the topsy-turvy world of college basketball in 2013.
And it is this topsy-turvy terrain that our very own Ari Kaufman and Jon Washburn decided to dissect last night as part of a special edition episode of The Assembly Call. They discuss the Hoosiers, of course, while also touching on the Big Ten as a whole, Butler, the systemic overrating of Duke, and much more.
If you love college basketball, you’ll love this podcast. Listen.
