Point: Incredibly, Missouri hasn't lost anything in the passing game. Not surprisingly, the Tigers were more ground-based through September after losing the school's all-time leading passer, a trio of receivers with 579 career receptions between them and the offensive coordinator who brought them together, but not by much, and not out of any deficiency when they do put the ball in the air: Blaine Gabbert is averaging almost 300 yards per game and hasn't thrown an interception in the Tigers' 4-0 start. He's the most efficient quarterback in the Big 12, ahead of Colt McCoy, Todd Reesing, Taylor Potts et al, and has generally lived up to the five-star recruiting hype across the board.
