“The terror is over. And justice has won” So said the Boston police department late Friday night, after one suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings was captured and another killed after an exhaustive manhunt. “It’s a proud day to be a Boston police officer,” commissioner Ed Davis declared after the arrest of Dzhokar Tsarnaev, a 19-year-old dubbed “Suspect No. 2″ by the FBI. Tsarnaev and his brother, Tamerlan, were identified by authorities as suspects Thursday in the Patriots’ Day attack. The two were engaged by police beginning Thursday night, and the 26-year-old Tamerlan  was killed in a firefight with authorities. Dzhokar eluded capture for several hours as the city of Boston was put on lockdown, but he was eventually tracked to a backyard in Watertown, Mass. Following his arrest, the junior Tsarnaev was transported to a local hospital, where he would be treated for injuries. Photo via Twitter/@mayortommenino
