Filed under: NBA Police Blotter Memphis police spent several hours Sunday searching the home of Sherra Wright, the ex-wife of former NBA player Lorenzen Wright, who was found murdered in a field in southeast Memphis on July 28, according to a report from Memphis television station WPTY (ABC24). Lorenzen Wright's body was found riddled with bullets, according to other media reports. No information was released on whether anything related to Lorenzen Wright's case was found at the home of Sherra Wright, 39, who was reportedly the last person to see Lorenzen Wright alive, telling police he left her house in suburban Collierville, Tenn., on July 18, 10 days before his body was found. Lorenzen Wright's mother reported her son missing to Memphis police on July 22, suspecting foul play, according to a report on MyEyewitnessNews.com.
