It was a tale of two halves for the Tulane men's basketball team Wednesday night against Tulsa, as the Green Wave couldn't hold onto a first-half lead and fell, 60-56, to the Golden Hurricane at the Donald W. Reynolds Center.

The University of Tulsa track and field teams will split for two meets this weekend. The Golden Hurricane will travel to Norman, Okla., and Ames, Iowa, for the J.D. Martin Invitational and the Iowa State Open.

Four Tulsa players scored in double digits to lead the Golden Hurricane to a 77-48 win over Houston on Thursday night at Hofheinz Pavilion in Houston, Texas. TU moved to 8-8 on the season and 3-2 in Conference USA, while UH fell to 2-15 overall and 1-4 in the league. Tulsa picked up its first road win since topping Southern Miss on January 16th last year.

The No. 22-ranked Golden Hurricane will face No. 30 Yale, No. 61 Purdue and Auburn in the three matches. Coach Dean Orford has yet to face any of these teams in his six-plus years at the helm.
