Alabama Head Coach Mitch GaspardOpening Statement:"We had a good start today out of Tucker Hawley and the bullpen came in and did a nice job as well so it's three games in a row where I feel our pitching threw a lot of strikes and did a really nice job. We did a nice job defensively as well. Going into the weekend our biggest concern was probably how we were going to play defensively. I thought Reaves was really good on both sides as shortstop and overall, as I said yesterday, I thought we played the game with pretty good ease which was good to see. Offensively, Kindred and Reaves had a good day. All three of their starters did a good job throwing two or three pitches for a strike and kept us off balance for a bit. We hit a couple balls hard at them, which is part of baseball, but at the same time, I thought we did what we had to do to get off to a good start this weekend." Related posts No related posts.
