POWER IS TRULY POWERFUL AS PLAYOFFS NEAR

The clock now says July. This is the time of year top AFL contenders are gunning for a berth in the ARENA BOwl. This year the suprising expansion upstarts from Pittsburgh known as the Power are not only in the chase but they could be making championchip noises come August. The management of this team has done a great job in getting the right people right off the top both on and off the field. From owner Lynn Swan and his partners down to head coach Chris Siefried the club has postively brought the moementum too this young franchise. The team could likely find itself just as successful as its NFL brothers the Steelers and wear the championchip crown for a long time. It has had its share of problems but the problems have been kept quiet and havent hurt the franchise. Recognition,which is difficult for a team too get in its first year has come nationally from the NFL Network which has shown the team several times in its AFL package. The Power figure too be even more impressive this week as they upset a strong ORlando team by the count of 67-56. Next week a look at the play-offs with an eye on who will likely make the Arena Bowl championchip.
