Marseille forward Remy, whose career has hit a snag through injuries recently has been wanted by host of English clubs including Newcastle United.

Marseille sporting director Jose Anigo feels their squad is “fully armed” at the moment and any suitable offer for Remy could see the player departing in January.
The 26-year-old has only made 12 appearances this season and has yet to open his goal scoring account in the Ligue 1. Redknapp is looking to pave the way for the Frenchman by selling his compatriot Djibril Cisse who is seen as surplus to requirements at the club.
