Sam Querrey continued his superb run of form as he upset Top Seed Nikolay Davydenko in the third round of the ATP Event in New Haven. Querrey won the first set 6-3 but Davydenko fought back and won the second set by the same score, and although the final set was a tense affair it was the American who edged it 6-4 to seal a shock 6-3 3-6 6-4 victory. Querrey who beat Andy Roddick in the ATP Masters 1000 Event in Cincinnati last week has been enjoying a superb run of form in North America the Californian reached three successive ATP Finals after Wimbledon. Widely regarded as one of the most talented tennis players in the tour, Querrey will have high hopes of bettering his performance at the US Open in 2008 where he reached the fourth Round before losing in four sets to the then World No. 1 Rafael Nadal. If you are a Betting person then you might want to consider Querrey's chances of making the second weekend at Flushing Meadows given his recent form.
