Quick Hits: Blind Man Gives NBA Legend his Nickname

I remember as a little kid (pre-Internet explosion) keeping track of NBA Players’ nicknames in a small notebook. I had the likes of Clyde ‘The Glide” Drexler, Dr J., His Airness, and Mighty Mouse (Damon Stoudamire) amongst many, many more. My two favorites, though, were the Human Highlight Film (Dominique Wilkins) and Chocolate Thunder (Darryl Dawkins). To be honest, I think “The Human Highlight Film” is the best nickname of the bunch, but Dawkins certainly has a cooler origin story.
