A healthy Matt Jones hasn’t been the answer Florida is looking for at running back. The Gators thought the sophomore would be ready to carry the load on the ground now that he has recovered from a viral infection, but Jones has 96 yards in his first two games. The coaches knew he wouldn’t get back in midseason form immediately, and until that happens, the Gators will ride the hot hand.
One of the top signal callers in the class of 2015 was on hand yesterday as the Florida Gators hosted the Tennessee Volunteer's. It was the start of conference play for both teams. The Lakeland (Fla.) Lakeland Christian School standout left the Swamp impressed.
The comedy of errors committed by Florida Gators and Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday were all collected in a lowlights reel fit for a circus tent.
