Travis Lamont Taylor played for Florida Gators in college. T.L.T’s college success resulted in Taylor being selected 10nth overall by the Baltimore Ravens.
Although his dominant game didn’t transfer to the NFL, he still was able to win a championship his rookie year. However 4 years later the Ravens released him.
Travis then bounced around to the Minnesota Vikings, to the Oakland Raiders, to the St. Louis Rams, to the Carolina Panthers, and finally to the Detroit Lions. As you can tell all of these teams have a weak receiving core, and unfortunately Taylor couldn’t help.
Taylor finished with 312 receptions, 4,017 receiving yards, and 22 touchdowns. That would be great in 3 seasons, but in 9 seasons….ehh not so much.
