Florida State coach Mike Martin, who estimated he faced Fraser at least 120 times in his career:

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. Terrance Shannon is very sore after he suffered a neck sprain in Saturdays loss at Virginia, Florida State assistant coach Stan Jones said.
Shannon fell to the floor after hitting his head on Evan Noltes hip while going for a loose ball late in the game. The junior was placed on a backboard and then a stretcher.

Mike Martin remembers the head-to-head meetings with Ron Fraser well.
The coaches faced off at least six times a year from 1980, when Martin was hired at Florida State, through Fraser's retirement at Miami after the 1992 season. Fraser held a 42-39-2 edge against Martin.
"There were so many unbelievable games," Martin said.
